In the old days
She was
A lonely little girl
Listening
To the sounds of silence
In the attic
Of a very old house

A long time ago
She was
That lovely young lover
Singing
Dreaming
Hoping
Waiting
For something
That would never come

Yesterday
She was
A determined
Tender
Close
Mother
Helping her children to rise in the sun
Fighting with the stormy wind of winter
Learning them to be good warriors

And now
She is looking
At her past times
And thinking
that today
Begins
Her life

Again
